The Western World is steeped in cultural symbols For many years, one of the strongest symbols of culture in the West is the grand piano in its present form. In this sculpture I wanted to reflect the Western world in the face of the image of the Son of God Jesus who stands as a barrier between the end of the era of culture as we know today, and total destruction. The piano no longer stands on its feet like a heavy body that can hardly be lifted. But as a weightless box of matches thrown into the trash of history. And only Jesus Christ was left alone to protect the house from the new world that was about to change without recognition. This statue also has the carrying handles that allow two people to move it from place to place. Like the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai, they carry the Holy Ark in all their wanderings for 40 years.
